We provide a wide range of structured learning solutions that taking account of all learning styles and methods – so you can be sure to receive training that meets yours and the business’ needs, clear training objectives, a choice of training providers and accurate training records. And because we recognise that the need for training can arise at any time of employment, we’ll continually review your training needs – not just annually.
Education Funding and Time for Study
For Carillon employees wishing to undertake additional further education or training which is job and business-related, we have a flexible and transparent approach to Education Funding and Time for Study allowance.
If the further education/training is relevant and essential for an employee’s current or future job role, Carillion will pay for the course from the outset. Payment will be made upon submission of an invoice from the training provider.
If the further education/training is relevant but not essential for an employee’s current or future job role, employees must pay for the course (including examination fees) initially and may be reimbursed upon successful.
We encourage all employees to take responsibility for their own learning and be able to demonstrate that the proposed learning is relevant and valuable to the individual’s current or expected future job role.
