Appointment of Richard Adam as Group Finance Director of Carillion plc

Further to the announcement on 14 December 2006 that Richard Adam will succeed Chris Girling as Group Finance Director, Richard will take up this appointment on 2 April 2007.

Chris Girling will step down as Group Finance Director on 2 April 2007, but will remain an Executive Director of Carillion plc until his retirement from the Company on 30 April 2007.
