Carillion plc (the Company) reports that on 7 April 2009, the following PDMRs of the Company were granted interests in the Company's ordinary shares of 50p each as follows. INSERT OPENING PARAGRAPH

Awards were made under the LEAP as shown in the table below. The number of shares vesting will be subject to achievement of the performance target based on annual average growth in earnings per share above the Retail Prices Index over a three year period.
