Construction Services in the UK
Our record in the UK includes outstanding projects such as the new Government Communication Headquarters in Cheltenham, 15 major hospitals, some 150 new schools, several prisons and numerous motorway, trunk road and rail projects.
The above projects demonstrate our expertise in construction and civil engineering. Carillion have worked on everything from transport improvements to flood defences, and from airports to industrial projects. Through getting involved early in the life of projects, our civil engineers are able to minimise risks and optimise value.
We base our UK construction capability around delivering integrated solutions for Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects and the many long-term customers with whom we have strong and valued relationships.

Recent high profile UK construction projects include the Library of Birmingham, the prestigious residential development of NEO Bankside in the heart of London, Southmead Hospital, and education facilities at the Nottingham Academy - the largest academy in Europe.
Our whole life approach to property, which includes not just construction but also maintenance and servicing, gives us an important competitive advantage. We know that there is no gain from cutting construction costs today if it will mean much higher servicing costs in the future.
