Holy Trinity School
The first project to be built as part of Dorset's new ‘Modernising Schools Project’ which provides 21st Century facilities for Dorset's pupils. The project replaces Holy Trinity Infant and Junior Schools with a new 630 place Primary School and 26 place Community Nursery. The school is configured over two storeys in order to reduce the overall footprint and maximise the benefits of the school grounds. The floor area of the building is 3166sq m split into three linked blocks – two teaching blocks either side of a central block containing a large and small hall, servery, studio, library and administration areas. A passenger lift is provided for disabled access. | |

The new school makes full use of the whole site as an educational resource. This includes formal and informal play areas, along with nature areas, enabling pupils to engage with the local habitat and natural landscape. |
