Redcar and Cleveland schools

The project consisted of design, build, finance, operations and maintenance of five schools – three secondary and two primary – for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.

Two of the schools, Sacred Hearts Roman Catholic comprehensive and Saint Benedict primary school, are voluntary-aided and share the same site.

The other schools - Gillbrook Technology College, Bydales Secondary School and South Bank community primary school, have been built on separate sites, replacing existing facilities that will be demolished after the works.

Each of the secondary schools has a capacity of 750 places and the primaries will have 330 and 315 places respectively.
