John Radcliffe, Oxford

Carillion has helped to enhance healthcare facilities in and around Oxfordshire with the design and construction of a major extension to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, including a new Children’s Hospital and specialist Head & Neck Centre.

Excellent project management of work on a live hospital site ensured that no clinical time was lost due to construction activities. The design and construction approach had minimising environmental impacts as a central theme and the development has been recognised as an Office for Government Commerce Sustainability Exemplar.

Carillion provides a comprehensive facilities management service to the new facility with hotel services extending to the whole of the John Radcliffe site.
