Salford Quays

Carillion is revitalising the docklands area of Manchester by helping to design and build one of the most prestigious residential developments in the North West.

Situated opposite the Lowry Centre, the eye-catching and award-winning NV Buildings at Dock 9, Salford Quays have been described as “the envy of Manchester”.

Working under a three-year £36.1m contract, we provided design and construction services for the creation of three 18-storey residential towers, each containing 82 luxury one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

We worked closely with the developer, Countryside Properties, architects and engineers to ensure timely delivery of the scheme in phased handovers while adhering to exceptional quality standards. Because the first residents were occupying apartments while construction continued, it was essential to ensure that ongoing work had a minimal impact on the local community and environment.
