Carillion is helping to keep road surfaces clear and travel for both vehicles and pedestrians safe around Derby as part of a £6m per year highway maintenance contract with Derby City Council.

Under the five-year partnering contract, we are providing emergency and response maintenance services for both highways and essential winter maintenance to grit six major routes across the city.

We are also responsible for providing a full programme of renewal and improvement highway works across the city.

The contract covers 759km of roads.
