Protection of the Environment
2003 Target – Promote awareness and benefits of our sustainability performance through our corporate communications strategy.
We want our sustainability vision and initiatives to inspire our stakeholders (our people, sub-contractors, communities, etc) and to differentiate our approach to business. In order to achieve this our communications strategy needs to promote sustainability in an appropriate manner to reach all of our stakeholders.
Firstly we identified the appropriate tools for communication with each stakeholder group. We recognise that each of our stakeholders have different priorities and are receptive to different forms of communications.
Secondly we ensured that sustainability was included in these forms of communication. In some instances we need sustainability to de directly promoted such as Enviro, posters, press releases. However, we also need to make sure it is included as part of our business strategy in conferences, briefings and corporate literature. |
