Chris Baines is one of Carillion’s two independent environmental advisers, working at executive board level. He works in a similar capacity with companies in the water, oil and housing industries. He is one of the UK’s leading environmentalists, an award-winning writer and broadcaster, a trustee of the Heritage Lottery Fund, a national vice-president of The Wildlife Trusts and president of the Association of Environment-Conscious Building. He currently advises ministers in the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions and in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on urban and rural policy. David Cadman is the founder of Environmental Governance, providing advice on corporate environemntal issues.   His recent work has included benchmarking exercises within the property development, investment and construction industries, and launching the Property Environment Group to be a focal point for developing environmental management and sustainability in these industries.  David is also a Chairman of the Prince's Foundation and a Visiting Professor at University College London.
