2004 Awards

• Carillion Services together with its client the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has won the Partners in Sustainability category in the Premises and Facilities Management Partnership Awards - now in their 11th year and regarded as the most coveted awards in the facilities management industry.

• Carillion receives commendation at the Surrey Sustainable Business Awards. The quality and extent of Carillion’s company wide environmental awareness training earned the Surrey highways contractor a commendation at the Surrey Sustainable Business Awards ceremony.

• Carillion scooped a top accolade in the annual awards by Brake - a national road safety charity. Carillion Fleet Management won the 'Excellence in the Development of Risk Management Strategy' category, in recognition of its commitment to safety and driver training programme. Brake is dedicated to stopping deaths and injuries on roads through awareness-raising campaigns including Road Safety Week.

• Business in the Community have re-accredited our Impact on the Environment Big Tick for 2004.

• Business in the Community have re-accredited our Impact on Society Big Tick for 2004.

• The City of Wolverhampton have awarded Carillion their Fairtrade City certificate in recognition of our contribution towards Wolverhampton’s commitment to Fairtrade.
