2004 Performance

We have used our “sun diagram” to help us understand the relationship between our impacts and delivering sustainable development. This diagram is essentially our definition of sustainability. We recognise that sustainability is not about addressing one or two isolated issues, for example, our work with The Wildlife Trusts creates successes for biodiversity, our people, community investment and design. With this in mind, we report some examples of our performance in each of our key impact areas: • Protection of the Environment • Prudent use of Natural Resources • Social Progress • Economic Growth and Prosperity
