Business in the Community - Corporate Resposnibility Index
Business in the Community – Corporate Responsibility Index
The Corporate Responsibility Index was introduced in 2002 and was developed in consultation with over twenty different companies.
The index is voluntary and helps companies benchmark against responsible business practice. It was developed as a management tool to support companies in improving their social and environmental performance, whilst providing a systematic approach to managing, measuring and reporting the various impacts that companies have upon society and the environment. The survey covers four key management areas; Community; Environment; Marketplace and Workplace.
Carillion has been participating in the index since 2005. The graph shows how we have performed against the corporate responsibility index since 2005.
