British Occupational Health Research Foundation - BOHRF

We have continued to sponsor BOHRF with annual donations of £15,000 to date since 2003. BOHRF is a charity that aims to bring employers and researchers together to produce research that will contribute to good employee health and performance at work"

Brian Kazer Chief Executive BOHRF commented to Carillion:

“BOHRF, as an award winning niche charity, is delighted to have established a long term true two way partnership with Carillion.

We share a passion for the right of people to have good health at work.

BOHRF evidence based research on occupational health and performance of people at work contributes to supporting the policy and practice in Carillion when managing risks to health of its people.

BOHRF’s aim of developing a research study to motivate the incoming generation of workers to want to get fitter and thus to be happier, more motivated and with better mental health, will contribute to Carillion’s determination to achieve sustainability. BOHRF contribution is significant because the incoming generation of workers will have lower life expectancy than current generations of workers due to its less good lifestyle and diet.

BOHRF research supports the view that work is good for people, provided that the risks from work are effectively managed. We are especially delighted that our partnership with Carillion is with the real leader in their sector in a genuine passion for effectively managing risks to its people.”
