* Operational water reduction (normalised by turnover) was 27%. Absolute water reduction was 12%. When comparing water from buildings on the Carillion Estate the reduction is 5% however more water was consumed in 2013 due to the acquisition of two new buildings. Therefore, absolute water consumption for our estates portfolio actually increased by 10% in 2013.

 * Planned implementation for Community Needs Plan started during the last quarter of 2013. Therefore figure represents contracts that were active in Q4 (Oct-Dec) 2013 and with more than six months left to run. Contracts are expected to implement plans within the first 3 months of mobilisation.

All suppliers to provide products and materials that are responsibly and ethically sourced 60 suppliers out of top 250*

* In 2013 we targeted 45% of Group's top 250 suppliers to provide products and materials that are responsibly and ethically sourced and we achieved 24%. Target measurement will change in 2014 to cover all suppliers.
