Natural resources are vital to life on earth. They include essentials such as air, water, food and fuel, which underpin our health, wellbeing and prosperity.
Everything we do has an impact on the natural environment, whether we are burning fossil fuels, using clean water or disposing of our waste. The world’s natural resources and species are declining at a rapid rate, yet by conserving resources and enhancing the natural environment, we can significantly improve our quality of life.
At Carillion, we manage our impact on the environment responsibly through the prudent use of natural resources, minimising waste and protecting and enhancing the environment in which we work and live.
