Biodiveristy
Many of our people are passionate about wildlife, conservation of habitats and protecting the biodiversity of our environment. This strongly supports our corporate commitment to managing our biodiversity impacts. Wherever our actions impact on biodiversity, we try to give something back to restore it, whether that is planting trees or restoring habitats.
Biodiversity is an important impact area that forms party of our sustainability policy. It is built into our environmental management systems and we develop local Biodiversity Action Plans for specific projects and contracts.
We have launched our biodiversity risk assessment / checklist, which identifies the risks posed to species and enables us to manage those risks carefully. We also provide practical guidance to our people on site to help them deal with biodiversity issues.

Each year we donate £35,000 to The Wildlife Trust, supporting a number of projects across the UK.
